What Is a Fractional CMO?
A fractional CMO is somebody who acts in the role of a chief marketing officer, and they basically are going to work with you either part-time or are going to be working with you for a short period of time, part-time or full-time, so similar to a contract.
Part-Time Position
Those individuals are usually people who do not want to work full-time, like many people who already have businesses built, or they have just retired and do not want to work much; they only take it as a hobby and for fun.
It Is All About the Cause
Sometimes they would not charge you a lot if they think your cause is good, for example, I worked with non-profits, sometimes even for free, for three, four, five, six months, and sometimes I did consultations only for free.
