How Much Do Restaurants Pay for Marketing?

Table of Contents

If you own a restaurant and want to expand your reach, or you want to be known locally (or even globally), then having a company handle marketing for you can be a good idea. Watch the video if you are curious about how much it usually costs to effectively run a marketing campaign for your restaurant.

How Much Should Restaurants Pay For Marketing?

Restaurants pay a lot of money for marketing, unfortunately, because they are getting scammed. I have a video about the subject of people getting scammed, but restaurants should pay $500 a month, in my opinion.

But if they are big and they have multiple listings on Google Search, they should be paying around $1000 because they need to have constant monitoring for the listings.

After they are built out and are nice, it is going to cost less because local SEO and marketing are going to do their own thing.

Your Own Customers Can Help

Your own customers, if you package your food well, they are going to upload the pictures and they are going to share them on their own, so they are going to do that part for you.

You just need to make sure it looks decent, it looks nice, and then the website itself and the marketing part, you do not have to do much.

Maintain Your Website

If your website is good and you have a menu that is running, you just need a developer to maintain it and build it right in the first place.

Do not give money to a developer who builds a website that does not rank. Ask for referrals and find somebody who can actually help you. Do not pay a lot, and do not listen to anybody who tells you you need to pay $2000 a month for marketing; it is a scam.
