How Do Startups Do Marketing?

Table of Contents

Starting a business can be exciting and there will be a lot of aspects to look into. One way to boost things up is to look into different marketing strategies. Kickstart your new business the best possible way by knowing what to invest in and whom to work with, more about that in this short video.

How Do Startups Do Marketing?

Startups sometimes do marketing by pouring a lot of money into it. Let’s say I have 50 million dollars, and I am just going to throw it at Google ads.

They spend 150, 250, sometimes a million dollars a month on ads, sometimes on Google ads alone, which is fine if you have the money and want to spend it.

SEO takes time, so it kind of makes sense if you want to pour money into ads because you are trying to grow right now, and your investors are looking at you. That is how startups would probably do it when they get investment.

What If They Do Not Have a Lot to Invest?

But if they do not have that investment in the beginning, they would have an issue. They would have to decide which marketing strategy they want.

The first person they would have to hire is somebody who does HR, and they would have to get a marketing team to do the strategy. One of those people on the team might have a fault, or maybe multiple of them.

Find a Good Team Lead

You need to have somebody to lead them, so your strategy is going to be useless if you do not have somebody to actually implement it with experience.

What Startup Marketing Strategy Includes

The startup marketing strategy in most cases would be anywhere from working with SEOs, working with ad campaign managers, influencers, social media, and classic marketing, like literally sending mailers. It depends on your specific niche.
