There are many forms of advertising, from classic to digital, but have you ever heard of PPC? If you are looking to grow your business through ads, you might want to look into PPC. Watch this short video to learn more about how pay-per-click works and how you can generate traffic from it.
What Is PPC?
PPC is pay-per-click; it is also sometimes referred to as cost per click, but they are kind of the same. So, PPC is anything you pay per click.
Even affiliate marketing is considered somewhat pay-per-click.
So, if you have a search result with an ad on Google, and you click it, that is considered a paid click. If you click on the results underneath that are not an ad, these are not PPC.
Therefore, PPC stands for pay-per-click, and everything that is usually below the search results or above it, depending on the type, is organic and not PPC.
‘Organic Paid’ in Analytics Reports
However, organic results are also considered PPC sometimes because they do show up organically, so it depends on the perspective you are looking at, whether it is internally or in general.
Companies usually would not consider organic traffic as PPC, but you will see in analytics reports, sometimes ‘organic paid’, so that is still considered organic even though it is PPC.
