The same concept is you don’t just send somebody five thousand dollars and expect a website. You will get scammed, don’t do that. Work with a company that offers financing, or try to meet the web developer or the agency at their location, so you know that they are a legitimate business. Don’t work with companies that are somewhere in, I don’t know, Russia or Japan, or you think that they are there because they might not be. People get scammed all the time. We get phone calls from people who paid for a website, they got some template and then the company disappeared and then they don’t know what to do. Yeah, it’s possible sometimes to retrieve the money, but just don’t do that unless you are hundred percent sure it’s a good company with good reviews. Do your research.
